Diavolo Main Gauche

This dagger has large proportions with a thick diamond section blade with a finely formed down-turned guard and large ring guard. These daggers were used primarily in the left hand to parry an opponent’s blows. The stepped decorative finials of the downturned guard could also be used to engage an opponent’s blade, even if only briefly to provide the opportunity for a counter thrust. Features a multi-wrapped metal chain grip and exquisite detail. It comes with matching scabbard covered in soft black leather and decorative throat and foot.
