Our Houndskull Bascinet is modelled on a late 14th. century original. The visor can be raised to provide greater vision and ventilation. Â It features brass studs (vervelles) for the attachment of an aventail. It is constructed from 14 gauge steel and the helmet is fitted with a leather suspension and chinstrap. Manufactured by GDFB and perfect for re-enactment.
