Plackart (Breastplate) – 16 Gauge

This plackart can be used to complement padded pieces of armour such as doublets or gambesons or can be worn over brigandines. They were very common in the 15th century. This one has two arming points for maximum reinforcement. It is constructed from 16 gauge steel making it great for re-enactment and features adjustable buckled leather straps. This item is popular with reenactors and is great for re-enactment.
