This handcrafted Steel Smooth Spanish Breastplate by Marto of Toledo, is a one piece solid construction of armour that covers the entire front of the torso. This simple yet classic design of breastplate was typical of the Spanish armoury of the 16th century and was mainly worn by foot soldiers. This particular breastplate is unadorned smooth steel that highlights the craftsmanship and clean lines of the armour.
